Though it’s still only January I can confidently say that the new Alpha-H Protection Plus Hand Cream SPF 50+ will be featured in my favourite products of 2016. I’ve been waiting  so long for someone to bring out a hand cream with a decent SPF and the Alpha-H one is perfect.
Hands are as susceptible to uv damage as much as the face and the results of this are thin, lax, pigmented and wrinkled skin. I don’t mean to be unduly negative and my intention isn’t to make anyone feel bad or self-conscious. I just think it’s worth pointing ageing skin on the hands is largely preventable with regular use of sun protection. Being forewarned is being forearmed etc.
Protection Plus Hand Cream SPF 50+ has the highest uv protection I’ve come across in a hand cream and it also contains lots of other helpful ingredients which I’ll expand on in a minute. On top of the high SPF the formula is exactly how a hand cream for the day needs to be i.e moisturising but ‘dry-touch’ so you don’t have to worry about leaving greasy marks everywhere. The colour of this cream is peachy pink but it doesn’t leave a tint behind. However, I do think it instantly improves the look of skin on the back of the hands by about 20/30%. The cream is absorbed very quickly and if pushed I’d say it has the merest smell of sunscreen to it.
