And when someone says the words “green” and “makeup” your first reaction might be “ewww, or, ugh, or, yikes!”
But it shouldn’t.  With St. Patrick’s Day right around the corner, it is a fun reason to play with green makeup!! If you choose the right shade of green (hello emeralds! very versatile for all eye colors) and placement you’re comfortable with, then you can totally pull this look off into your beauty routine.  Minus looking like an alien!!

     STEP BY STEP TUTORIAL:

Start with an eyelid primer first, because you definitely don’t want shades of green traveling all over your face!
Add an ivory shade of shadow all over the lid to brighten up the naked eye bed. I used MAC “Shroom,” – it’s the jam and has a beautiful subtle sheen to it.
Then place an emerald shade of green shadow (the most flattering of greens in my opinion) right in the center of the lid from the lashes right up to the eye crease. Create an upside down half moon shape if you will. I used Kat Von D’s “Metallic Mermaid” – it’s super bold and pigmented!
