HOW TO USE A FACIAL CLEANSING OIL

Most of us were raised to wash our faces with soap, water and a lot of splashing. But I’m here to say you aren’t doing your face any favors! There’s something beautiful that happens when you make these two important changes:
switch from soap to a cleansing oil and
incorporate a muslin cloth to bring the water to your face instead of splashing.
A cleansing oil will melt away makeup, dirt and grime while providing essential moisture. Acne sufferers will actually see your skin calm down because instead of stripping away oil (triggering your skin to create more), your skin chills out and slows oil production because there’s no need. On the flip side, dry-skin sufferers get the added oils you desperately need, without drying out your skin from washing your face. Then on top of that, incorporating a muslin cloth to the equation generates cell turnover by gently exfoliating on the daily. Which in turn leaves you with gorgeous, smooth skin immediately but even more so over time. And you can really get in there at the lashline to remove waterproof mascara and eyeliner. Here’s how:
