How to Set Up a Makeshift Home Office
As we all know, staying home right now is the most important thing for us to do. If you’re not an essential worker (thank you so much to all of you who are), you’re likely working from home and trying to adjust to this new reality. If you’ve been following me for a while now, you know that I’ve worked from home a lot throughout my career, and I had to set up my ideal workspace to get it all done. I’m social distancing just like most of you right now, and I had to get back into my WFH mode quickly and efficiently. Choose Your Space
As I?ve said before, it?s not fair to assume that everyone has an actual home office or the space for a large workspace. The good thing is that you all can work with what you have, and you?ll be impressed by the results of your creativity! It?s best to choose an area of your home that you don?t use often, or won?t typically use throughout the day. I?ve seen a lot of people setting up their workspace in a guest room or dining area because they tend to have enough room to make you comfortable, yet remain focused.
