A global pandemic has made everyday life pretty dull, but that doesn?t mean you have to let that happen to your skin too. Today I’m sharing seven tips on how to get glowing skin at home.
The key to achieving a glowing complexion is of course, so much more than a skincare routine. I?m not a registered dietician or trainer, so I?m not going to dwell too much on some of these other tips I?ve listed. However, those are generally best practices and will definitely help with your quest to getting a glowing complexion.
For reference, I have normal to dry skin. I occasionally deal with hormonal breakouts and I try to avoid skincare products that are heavily fragranced because I have sensitive skin. If you find yourself overwhelmed by skincare, then start with the essentials:
Cleanse: Even if you?re not wearing makeup everyday, a facial cleanser will remove dead skin cells, any oil, dirt and other pollutants. I like to use a gel cleanser at night and a cream cleanser in the morning. When I wear makeup, I’ll use this makeup remover cleansing balm.
Tone: Using a toner brings your skin back to its natural acidic state, removes any leftover dead skin after cleansing and prepares your skin to absorb oils and serums more effectively.
