How to Detox After the Holidays
Now that holiday season has officially kicked into gear, so is the busy travel period. A lot of us either head back to our hometowns to spend time with our families or hop on a plane for a holiday vacation. In either scenario, traveling can take a toll on our bodies especially since we have to head right back to work once all the fun is over. I swear by detoxing to reset both my mind and body after traveling, and since I?ve been traveling more often, it?s really helped me.
Since we can all feel a bit sluggish, jet-lagged and dehydrated once the holidays are over, I wanted to share some of my detoxing tips with you. On the other hand, it?s crucial for me to note that you should still enjoy the holidays to the fullest and not let the thought of the aftermath get to you. With that being said, here?s how to reset after all of the fun.
Stay Hydrated
One of the most common things to feel after constant traveling is dehydration. I’ve made it a point to drink as much water as possible every day, not just when I’m traveling, and it has helped me stay more alert, productive, and feeling healthier. I use a reminder app that sends me notifications for times to drink water throughout the day.
Sweat It Out
