Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit Palette Review
When the first images of the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit Palette trickled onto social media, I swore there and then that the palette would be mine. My mind frame quickly changed when I saw it in person, I have no shame in admitting that I deemed it to be too dinky - especially to warrant the hefty £65 price tag. Long haul flights and jet lag do terrible things to a person - for 8 hours, all I could think of was the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit Palette and how foolish I was not to hand over the cash while in Sephora.
Most people use long haul flights to slap on a face mask and maybe catch up on a few movies or two, I like to use them to both taught myself of missed make-up opportunities and then swear to rectify them. A full and exciting life I live, clearly.
The Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit Palette is now safely in my clutches and truthfully I don't regret clicking purchase; yes the palette and pans of powder are a little on the small side (most of my blush brushes, fluffy inclusive fit neatly into each pan) but it is perfect for travel, and day to day use. Much like previous launches, the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit Palette come presented in an off gold, plastic compact that is both pretty and robust, not to mention it does contain a great sized mirror too.
Sizing issues aside, the other real grumble that others very rightly have is that four out of the six shades within the kit have been in previous palettes, with only one shade being entirel...
