A delicious and healthy chicken recipe that I make is this orange honey chicken with peanuts, orange juice, soy sauce and ginger with garlic and carrots that provide a sweet and tangy sauce. What is so wonderful about this chicken with orange and honey sauce is not only the sensational taste, but also the peanuts that give it a chewy crunch that really enhances the flavor. Here in the recipe for this nutritious chicken dish along with some helpful tips.
This orange chicken is easy to cook with just a few steps. Of course, you need to zest an orange, chop the onion, garlic and carrots, but other than that there is hardly much effort required. You do fry the chicken slightly before stirring in the vegetables to partially cook before making and thickening the sauce and transferring to your oven to bake.
To keep this a healthy chicken recipe with peanuts, I take the skin off to avoid that excess fat that is full of calories and cholesterol.
