I’ve been wanting to try Gerard Cosmetics for a looooong time now. I sort of kept forgetting about the brand, but consistently see posts on Instagram abuzz about their incredible products. So – it was time. While I’m still eager to try their Hydra Matte Liquid Lipsticks, it was their Star Powder in Sophia that sparked my curiosity. I’ve been obsessed with finding the perfect highlighter! I have a few in my vault, but I’m always on the lookout for new, glowing, intense ones to try. Before I get to the shade and quality of the product, let’s talk about the packaging. It’s so old Hollywood and classy. I LOVE IT! The black box the golden compact comes in screams elegance, and the compact itself is just lovely. Once you open the product up to view the beauty inside, you’ll notice a plastic closure that is attached to the side of the compact to protect the powder. I have to say, I really love this little feature. With powder compacts, it can get quite messy and if you’re one to use the mirror inside, powder can get all the place. First world problems, I know.
