Face Masks to Refresh Your Skin

Winter can be really rough on skin, espcially those of us who suffer with very dry skin. I can’t seem to keep my skin hydrated this year!
I’ve added a weekly (or two times a week) face mask into my routine, and not only does it feel like a bit of pampering, but it usually leaves a lasting effect on my face that is more intense than what day or night cream can do.
I mentioned in December that I was using Clinique’s Even Better Dark Spot Corrector to reverse some dark spots from blemishes around my chin and mouth. This is the kind of product that takes time, so while I haven’t noticed “dramatic” changes, I can tell that those spots have lightened a tiny, tiny bit. When I saw Clinique makes a brightening mask as a part of that same line, I had to try it. Historically I go for pore cleansing or hydrating masks, but I liked adding this new kind into the mix.
For this mask, I applied like I would apply face cream, but just went a little heavier with product. I let it sit for about 10 minutes, then grabbed a cotton pad to wipe off the excess product. There is no need to rinse your face unless you’d like to.
