Tips for the Best Cheddar Pear Pie

I didn?t use a colander to drain the pears because I wanted to save the liquid it was packed in. Instead, I just scooped them out with a fork. The reason I did this was because that light syrup is great to add when making ice tea or lemonade to give the drink a fruity twist.
