Even if I hated the smell of the Olympia Le-Tancollection for Diptyque I’d have bought a candle anyway because it’s just so damn pretty. Thankfully though the Rosaviola scent really appeals to me and reminds me Parma Violets sweets but nicer. It’s inspired by a lady’s bag and is a mix of rose, violet, lipstick and leather. Of course, if it was inspired by my bag it wouldn’t be so pleasant (tissues, miscellaneous crumbs, chewing gum and crisps perhaps).

The label on the candle is fabric and you can peel it off to use on something else if you want.  However, I think it goes perfectly with the pink glass jar and it will be lovely to use as a storage pot once the candle’s gone. As an added touch the inside of the box is beautifully illustrated so I want to keep that too.

Scented Oval at £34
Solid Perfume 8g at £32
The whole collection is just gorgeous and as it’s limited edition it will probably sell out very quickly.
