With just over two weeks until Valentine's Day, I thought it would be somewhat acceptable to share Diptyque's latest collection - Rose Delight, which has been created to mark such occasion...that and the candles within this range are selling out quickly, so I wanted to post whilst there was still stock to avoid disappointment. Diptyque candles are forever coveted but it seems that the delicate notes and packaging of Rose Delight are more than most can resist, myself included.

The Diptyque Rose Delight Candle is charming in every way possible - from the sweet yet instantly recognisable notes of Rose, to the cute yet refined blush-pink packaging that adorns the entire range (there's two sizes of candles, draw liners, a scented solid disc and a hair mist within the collection). The beautiful design, front and centre of this campaign has been inspired by a Middle Eastern take on French toile de Jouy (an iconic style of French prints primarily used on cloth and wallpaper). My only grumble is that the pink accents that decorate the glass container, housing the candle are paper stickers, something that will get grubby and peel with continued use, and not exactly the level of luxury I expect when dropping £50 on a single candle.
As past launches have dictated, Diptyque to tend to favour rose scents for their limited edition Valentine's editions and this time around, the scent is inspired by Turkish Delight. As someone who is not all that familiar with the sweet...
