Every year I buy myself one Christmas gift (is this the most ridiculous thing ever or is this widely accepted" I'm almost afraid to ask) something that I wouldn't dare put on a wishlist or drop hints for, as it forever happens to be the same expensive and unnecessary item - Diptyque Holiday candles. I'll be the first to admit that I don't need them and yet for five years and counting, I haven't been able to resist adding to my already out of control candle stash (that's also a real thing...right").

I had every intention of side stepping the limited edition Diptyque Holiday 3 Candle Gift Set in favour of the truly breathtaking and intricate Diptyque Constellation Carousel, but as it is sold out everywhere, it wasn't meant to be. If you do manage to track one down, snap it up, there and then! It is even prettier in person and adds a little extra ambience to any candle it fits (most small votives but you didn't hear that from me).
