Cloud Nine Hair Irons – An Upgrade From GHD
In the last few months I’ve come to rely on hair straighteners to get my hair into a presentable state much more than previously. This is because it’s shorter than it has been and shorter means frizzier for me. Therefore I wasn’t happy when my GHD’s suddenly stopped working – especially as I had them less than two and half years. I had a moan about this on twitter and got recommendations for Cloud Nine straighteners in response.
I hadn’t heard of Cloud Nine before but I wasn’t going to get another pair of GHD’s as the cost per use for them was ridiculously high and their Customer Service wasn’t at all helpful. Also, looking at their twitter feed, there was a lot of people complaining about their tools packing up just after the two year mark (when the guarantee runs out). I looked into Cloud Nine and the reviews for their straighteners were very good indeed so that’s the I path I took. I’ve had mine for a few weeks now and I’m absolutely delighted with them. In fact they’re actually a major upgrade on the GHDs. This is because you can set the temperature between 100 and 200 degrees which gives you so much more flexibility. I use them at 150 degrees which is a lot less than the 185 degrees that the GHDs are set at. This reduction is only going to benefit my hair.
