Chosungah 22 Bounce Up Pact – Review
Chosungah 22 is a K-Beauty brand that’s recently become available at Sephora and is now getting a ton of attention. Chosungah, herself, is a makeup artist who is credited with spearheading the K-Beauty market.
The product that caught my eye was the Bounce Up SPF 50+ Pact. I like to carry something with me that I can use to top my spf protection and touch up my base. Recently, I’ve been using cushion compacts and, while I really like the finish it gives, they run out so quickly.
I thought the Bounce Up Pact might be a good alternative. Also, I was intrigued by the promise of a bouncy formula. I bought one from eBay as it was cheaper than the one on Sephora. However, I now think this was a mistake as it seems that the one on Sephora has an updated formula and probably better packaging as well. The texture of my Bounce Up Pact Original wasn’t quite as bouncy as I expected though there is some give to it. It actually slightly reminds me of putty. It’s a powder foundation that looks moist but is dry when applied. In fact, it can feel a bit too dry on the skin.
The shade I have is Light Beige and, like a lot of compacts from Asia that I’ve tried, it looks darker in the pan than it does on the face. The smallest swipe gives medium coverage and it adheres to the skin very well.
Unfortunately, the packaging is on the cheap and plasticy side.
Though Bounce Up Pact Original isn’t perfect it’s definitely not a bad product and the more ...
