The singer-songwriter, whose real name is Charlotte Emma Aitchison, has continued to garner attention with her edgy style and fun tracks. When it comes to Charli’s flair, bold punk-like fashion has remained a constant throughout her appearances. While some may call the smudgy eyeliner a lazy look, the 32-year-old has embraced it and made it her signature style.

In an interview with Allure Magazine, Charli XCX, who is the newest ambassador for Valentino Beauty, shared her makeup secrets. The singer shared her eyeliner hack, saying, “I love going in the waterline, kind of pulling it out.” Charli continued that she is “never mad” if her eyeliner “gets a little smudgy.” 
The “Apple” singer also shared that she prefers the kind of makeup look that gives the impression she has been “out partying the night before.” Charli candidly added, “Which in some cases, I have been.” However, at other times, the singer relies on her makeup to pull off that afterparty-like look.
