Caring for your Scalp

Winter is brutal on skin and hair, and it can be really hard to hydrate a dry scalp during this season as well. Beyond just the season we’re in being rough on hair and skin, it’s a good idea to care for your scalp all year round. I’ve used both a handful of times already and can tell you that I’m really pleased with the results of both of them! In general, they both left my scalp feeling refreshed and left no residue on my hair either!
Let’s start with the Amika Reset Charcoal Detoxifying Scalp Cleansing Oil. This product is extremely easy to apply because you can use the nozzle tip to place the product directly on your scalp. The consistency is unique in that it looks like an oil when you apply it, but when it is massaged in it becomes a little foamy. The menthol element smells so refreshing and left my scalp feeling tingly and fresh.
