Though By Invitation by Michael Bublé  is described as being a scented love letter to his fans it’s such a lovely fragrance that it will have a much wider appeal than with those who listen to his albums. I really like Michael Bublé as a music artist but, as someone with a passion for perfume, By Invitation speaks to me more as a lover of fine fragrances than it does as a Michael Bublé fan.
In the past couple of years I’ve really immersed myself in the world of fragrances by reading lots of perfume related books and attending talks. It’s such a fascinating subject and the more I’ve learnt the more I appreciate fragrances as a form of art in the same way as I do music, film, design etc. – they can stimulate and elevate emotions deep inside of you. It’s now become a pleasure of mine to discover new scents and my first encounter with By Invitation was when I smelled it on Paula from LDN Diaries. It was one of those ‘Mmm, what’s that perfume you’re wearing"’ moments. It’s definitely the kind of scent that draws you into the person wearing it.
