Askinology is a new type of medi-spa that’s helping to change the reputation of the aesthetic industry for the better.  It was set up by Dr Askari who qualified in 2002 and has worked in aesthetics for the past 10 years. He’s also in the trusted position of training others in cosmetic procedures.
I recently met Dr Askari at a blogging event held at Askinology and he made a couple of points that particularly impressed me. Firstly, he was adamant about not carrying out work on anyone that didn’t need it. The overdone face is becoming an increasingly common sight so it’s important for cosmetic practitioners to act responsibly and for the sake of their patients rather than their pockets.
The second point that Dr Askari made that inspires confidence is that he won’t perform procedures that don’t give predictable results. There are some procedures that work well on some people but not on others which can obviously lead to disappointment and the feeling of having wasted money. Dr Askari avoids these as he wants all his patients to have a positive experience at his clinic.
