So it was during The Makeup Show NYC where I discovered the beauty of Amika. I’ve heard of the brand before, but didn’t know too much about it. They have a wide variety of glorious hair care products (two of them which I’ll review within the next few weeks), but it was their hair dryers that really grasped my attention. As soon as I saw the beautiful design of the dryer, I had to have it. I usually do research on my dryers before I buy them, but something in my gut told me this would be worth it, and not just because it was super pretty. So, I picked up the Amika Powder Could Force Hair Dryer, and I am so glad I did because it’s everything I hoped it to be! First, I need to talk about the design of the tool because that’s what sold me. They have five beautifully designed hair dryers, that are so unique. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a dryer quite like these. I decided to go for BLACK OB, which is a black dryer (obviously) with an array of beautifully bright florals and swirls.
