Fresh Batch Beauty is going to be a big beauty trend in the years aheads (I originally wrote about it HERE) and the idea behind it is solid – single-use or time-stamped products that provide active and fresh ingredients. And if there’s one ingredient that’s perfect for this category of beauty it’s Vitamin C as it’s highly effective when fresh but goes ‘off’ very quickly.
Clinique’s new Fresh Pressed system have used the ‘Fresh Batch’ premise for two stablised Vitamin C products  – a Renewing Powder Cleanser and Daily Booster. They promise brighter skin and absolutely deliver on this.
The Renewing Powder Cleanser edges it as being my favourite product of the two and this is because it instantly made my skin look more radiant. It comes as sachets filled with powder which you mix with a couple of drops of water to activate the Vitamin C. You then apply to the face and rinse. The powder is ultra fine so the paste is very smooth. Other ingredients include Kaolin Clay which will remove excess oil and salicylic acid which has an exfoliating action and helps unplug oil and dirt from pores. It really does make skin look clean, bright and glowy without any hint of dryness. The Fresh Pressed Daily Booster With Pure Vitamin C 10% comes in a little vial.
