a pretty *almost* all-in-one palette
I’m very picky when it comes to makeup palettes. When scanning them over, I want to be able to use every single one of the colors available to make it worth my money. And oftentimes, in eyeshadow palettes especially, there are a few totally random colors that I know I won’t ever touch.
This bare minerals palette caught my eye at Sephora last week. Aren’t the colors so pretty"
Be Beautiful palette, cat dish
I want to try a few different looks from this palette, but I started out with a soft, everyday look.
I swept Graceful all across the lid and added Exhale to the crease. I used a small angled brush to apply Exhale to my lower lash line. With a smaller powder brush, I swept Faux Tan Matte across the outer parts of my face. With a blush brush I applied Golden Gate Matte to my cheeks, then added Inner Beauty to the very center of my cheeks. I used Promise right under my brow bone, and added Presence to the inner corner of my eye and swept it onto my nose a bit. For lips, I added a light layer of Smashbox Rookie for the softest touch of pink.
I loved the result. The colors were pigmented and blended really well. I could not be more pleased with this palette! It’s great for travel but also great to keep right on your counter and use daily!
I’ll follow up with another post using the two other eyeshadow shades, Beautiful and Confident, to show an alternative look!
