It feels like it has been forever since I last sat down and merely said hello. I think the vast majority of us would agree that 2016 was a strange chain of events - 12 months of complete mystery and in some instances sadness. The good news is that it is over, we can put it behind us and look forward to the next 11 or so months of 2017.

Personally I am not one for solid, concrete plans, I do tend to go with the flow but as far as The Sunday Girl there will be a few changes and new categories. I love, love, love writing (and reading) reviews (that won't ever change) but fully understand there is so much more to the world of beauty products and services than what the latest eyeshadow palette may be. As such I want to expand, grow and offer new perspectives, places and voices - both my own and from others, as well as offering my typical beauty content, because really sometimes you just want to know what is the skinny on the new Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks (Pillow Talk is worth the investment and then some F.Y.I - see it here).
Rather excitingly I will be spending a large chunk of the year in the U.S (New York, New Jersey mainly) so I do hope to slot in some beauty posts reflective of that - I mean who doesn't want to read about a nail bar that is actually a nightclub with $5 cocktails" Exactly.

Anyway before I go off on a complete tangent, believe it or not 2017 marks six full years of beauty blogging - something I truly never, ever thought I'd get to...
