The trend for probiotic skincare (which I wrote about in my trends for 2016 post) continues with the just launched brand, Gallinée. The initial 5 products contain a patented prebiotic, probiotic and lactic acid complex that support and promote the skin’s good bacteria. The range is also ‘Free-From’ the common skincare irritants. Prices range from £13-£35 and it is already available at LookFantastic and will be going into BeautyMart shortly.
The Latest On XAF5
The company behind the much anticipated eye bag reducing cream XAF5 has been bought by Allergan, the makers of Botox and Juvéderm (HA injectable fillers). XAF5 is a topical cream said to be able to reduce fat under the eyes though it’s not expected to hit the market until 2018 and it will only be available on prescription. Max Factor And Blippar
It look likely that ‘blippable’ is term we’re all going to using before not too long. Amongst other things, the Blippar app lets you have an ‘augmented reality’ experience from brands and Max Factor has just partnered with them. You can now scan any of Max Factor’s 500 SKUs to get access to online reviews, tutorials etc. A deal has been done with Boots to use their online reviews.
