Back in February I explained about how the 3D SkinLift treatment  worked. Basically, when performed on the stomach, it’s a non-invasive alternative to a tummy tuck. Obviously, the results aren’t going to be as good but nor does it cost £10,000, involve a major operation and 6+ weeks of downtime. The treatment harnesses the power of ultrasound to boost collagen and give a slight constriction to the underlying muscles which should result in  smoother and more lifted skin in whichever area is being treated (3D SkinLift can also be used on the face and other areas of the body).
I’ve now had my 3 treatments and though it won’t be for another 4-6 weeks before I see my final result I thought I’d share exactly what the treatment involves. As I explained in the last post, the treatment is performed with the Ultraformer III which is a available in lots of clinics. However, the difference at EFMediSpa is that you have 3/4 treatments instead of just one and this is to lessen the pain and enhance the results. I have heard about people having to abandon having the one-off treatment because the pain was too intolerable.
Three different heads are used which each work on a different depth. For the stomach, the depths are 9mm, 6mm and 4/4.5mm and each head is passed over the stomach 2/3 time.
