2 MINUTE MAGIC
We live for a good blowout and we love perfectly messy waves. But what about the next day when you have a funky piece here and there that just doesn’t blend" You could take the time to rework them with a curling iron orrrrr you could save your hair from addition heat styling by braiding those not-so-cohesive pieces, then pulling it all back into a quick half updo! Here’s how we did it…
Grab pieces that just aren’t meshing with your waves. Braid them! You can do various sizes or all the same.
Once you have some small braids in the mix, use your fingers to gather half of you hair in the back (near the occipital bone– that’s the little bone in the back of your head.) Use a couple of small and large bobby pins to secure.
The messier the better if you ask me!
By the way, we prepped the hair using a sea salt spray and let it air dry before adding waves. Here we used THIS ONE. Use your favorite one or try one of these!
OCEAN MISTÂ
COCONUT + SEA SALT SPRAY
BEACH BABE WAVE SPRAY
APRES BEACH WAVES SPRAY
SEA MIST
BOHEMIAN WAVES
To get these waves we wrap curled on THIS WAND.
