OKAYYYYYYYYYYYYYY. I owe you guys one giant apology. I’ve been neglecting the TBD hair content because I was away launching a hair care line (sorry not sorry) but more on that later! So, I’m back and I’m ready to crank out some fun hair ideas for spring/summer/festival/office days/date nights/brunch/you get the point. BUNS! You may or may not have hopped on that whole space bun trend last year…" Wasn’t really my personal jam, but I certainly love a bun and finding fun ways to wear them. This look isn’t groundbreaking but it’s fast, playful, chic and it’s easy AF so let me show you how it’s done…
ONE: CREATE TWO MESSY PONYTAILS BEHIND YOUR SHOULDERS. MAKE SURE THEY’RE LIGHTLY TEASED AND WELL COVERED IN (my very own!!!) TEXTURE SPRAY. (SIDE NOTE: FOR A MORE SLEEK LOOK, YOU CAN SKIP THE TEXTURE SPRAY AND USE A SHINE POMADE FROM ROOT TO ENDS WHICH MAKE THE BUNS A BIT MORE HIGH-GLOSS.)
TWO: WRAP THOSE PONIES AROUND THE BASE AND SECURE WITH A LARGE BOBBYPIN AND A COUPLE OF U-PINS FOR EXTRA SECURITY AROUND THE OUTSIDE. I LOVE LETTING THESE SLIGHTLY FALL APART BEFORE SPRAYING THEM WITH HAIRSPRAY.
